Since I've arrived back.
I won the Burlington Road Race, attacking with a little less then 1 k to go out of a breakaway of 11 guys.
I was 10th at Snake Alley.
This pass weekend Team Wheel& Sprocket opted out of Tulsa Tough, due to not wanting to drive 13 hours. So we Drove the 2 hours down to Chicago land for Two crits.
The first wasn't the greatest day on a bike Andy and I've had. Altough we did manage to take all of the cash primes, the racing was quite Negative. Two teams had more then 7 guys in the race yet everybody looked at us 2 W&S riders To chase everything that went. One ABD rider got away solo Andy was 4th I was 7th.
Sundays race wasnt much different, 2 team with more then 7 riders vs the 3 man W&S. 3 laps in I attack drag some "DUDES" out of the field Andy bridged up. Group of 6 guys Andy and I drive the break along with the help of Robbie White, as we have two ABD "DUDES" basicly sitting on, yes they would pull through but about 2MPH slower. We were half a lap up and eventually got sick of pulling them around and started attacking. Not long after it was as if some one hit the "Reset" button on the race as ADB then attacked and stayed away much of the second half. Again nobody would chase so there I found Andy and my self back on the front chasing ABD down with 4 to go. Last lap I drill it up the left side to close the final gap down. Two corners to go I start the lead out with Kent on my wheel going into the final turn Andy sitting 4th wheel behind Baumann, I gave it one last go with about 500m to go, Andy was forced to start his sprint a bit to early not wanting to get caught in the swarm, Josh Carter of ABD won by a bike length over Andy. 2nd Place isn't all that bad after spending half the race off the front and still having to chase with 4 to go.
Thats how the it all went down...

ABD < biggest club in ChicagoLand...
There's criterium in Wheaton, IL on Sunday
ABD not pulling through hard in the break--for a reason! If it were up to me I'd pull my brains out in every breakaway, but luckily my teammate is a bit smarter than me.
