Long time since I last posted anything on here .... My summer of racing went very well as fare as road racing went I raced Super Week and that went super . I ended up 3rd overall in Cat 3's with one stage win and a couple second and third places, won some feild sprints witch made up for missing so many breaks... I also upgraded for the biggest Pro 1/2 race , Downers Ave I was having an awesome race when with four laps to go my rear wheel felt a bit soft coming out of turn 2 only to look down and see it was going flat ! But o well thats racing for ya .
I didnt race on the road for a couple weeks after Super Week and I started focusing on Mountain Bike racing again , and had one of my best finishes this year with a 6th place at the WORS race in Calumet .
Wisconsin state crit went very well . I raced the JRs race thinking with ISCorp not having much of a team anymore seeing all the fast guys on the team switched to diffrent teams , so it wasnt a race of seeing who had the biggest team. Two laps into the race there was one guy off the front solo , I bridged up and the two of us streched out the lead to about 45 seconds and held it there and with about 3 laps to go we lapped the field. With one lap to go I attacked and just held on to finish about 3 seconds in front of the feild sprint for the win after the last few years of just missing the win.
WORS race at Cristal Ridge in Franklin , WI I had no clue as to how my legs would be from racing the state crit the day before so I desided that I would go out hard and make due with what I had left in the legs from saturday so I got in the lead group of four with Jeff Hall , Brian Eppen and Seth lense. First to fall off the pace was Seth just before flatting on a downhill. I had a horrible day trying to stay upright and on two wheels I crashed about 5 times or so two of them I hit hard and lost time on the two leaders as jeff hall took the win and Eppen rode in for second with me about 30 seconds back.
Over this last weekend Matt brandt, Mike Anderson and I went down to Chicago to race. We got of the express way and realized that the race was going to be in the ghetto with glass all over the roads. The JRs race went well with me attacking two laps in and lapping the pack solo and matt ended up taking the pack sprint . Pro 1/2s race went very well with Mike , Matt and I all making the 10 man break. Mike flated with 4 to go and matt and I finished 4th and 5th with matt beating me by about a few inches and all 4 endeavour guys in the top 10 .
