TNR

about 10 seconds after the pic was taken Carl Bennett hit the deck hard Posted by Hello

The TNR was a good one kinda. The ride started at 5:30, I left the house around 4:30 so I could spin across town to get some extra miles in before the ride started. The group rolled out of the parking lot and headed east into the eastern wind and it was blowing so hard that 20 mph felt like 35 . I kept a low profile sitting at the back letting the guys who try blowing things apart in the first ten miles do there thing and about 2/3s of the way out they pulled off the front and tried recovering , that's when I hit the front with a slight up hill I pushed the pace so it was all strung out. Once we turned into the cross-wind 4 guys took off after some confusion on the route we were taking and nobody wanted to chase them so I knowing that if I bridged then they would chase, sure enough I made it across and not to long after it was back to one big group. That's when two guys crossed wheels right in front of me . Carl hit the deck fairly hard with his bike shooting out my way and after a quick bunny hopp I just missed crashing my self, everybody stopped at made sure he was ok. Just a few cuts to his elbow and a sore hip we were on our way enjoying a tail-wind all the way back into town.
